Today was the long awaited NHL All Star Game volunteer meeting. We got to find out what our jobs were and wow!!! I got the best job that I really wanted - to do meet and greet at the airport. What that means is I would be greeting the players and escorting them to their cars!!!!!! I almost cried when I saw that it was on my schedule. My boyfriend and I also signed up for an extra shift to volunteer at an event that is happening after the Skills Competition. It is a dinner that is being held the players and their families:) Ahhh I cannot believe that I will be in the room with all of the greatest players in the NHL!!!!!!! My other jobs include being transportation hosts for the shuttles that are gonna go from many downtown hotels to the Scotiabank Place. This might involve being outside, but we get cool All Star jackets:) I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna peeeee my pants I am soo excited!!
